The weekend has been great. Firstly The Lakehouse with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock was actually a great film. I was thinking it might have been a chick flick extraordinaire, but then I thought, Keanu makes
decent movies, so I gave it a go, and wasn't disappointed. On Saturday then I went with another singer/musician friend, Ian Somerville to hear Richard Higginson launch his new album, 'Tents & Altars' at The Errigle Inn in Belfast. It was a great night, and Richard was excellent.
Football then was Sunday, and I watched the England match with Sarah (who has taken a recent liking to football - was that a flying pig?). It was a decent match, though again, if they want to go further they will have to step things up again. And the little I caught of the Portugal/Netherlands match was mad - 4 off in the end and 16 yellow cards - that's what I call a trigger-happy ref.
So the week that's coming is a lot of work (12-8pm shifts every day), as well as press on with my Jim Wallis book (it is one if the best books I've read in a long time!). So until next time... I'm off to bed to get some sleep pattern back!
